The LithoFusion Collection based on a set of rules and parameters I'd set for myself as an experiment to see if it helps maintain a subtle cohesive quality throughout the collection.

Each composition was based on images from one of 4 trips, and each composition's images are unique to a specific location with no cropping or cutting and pasting done at all. All source images are kept framed as they were shot.

LithoFusion Featured on Appafolio!

Delighted to learn that Appafolio is currently featuring my LithoFusion Collection app on their site!

For those of you wanting to present your work and or product in an iPhone & iPad app without having to code anything and viewable off-line, check out Appafolio. I created a portfolio of my LithoFusion Collection on Appafolio almost a year ago and can't believe how far it's now advanced. You can even create "Buy" links by simply adding the url where the product is located within an image gallery. You can also add slideshows and videos, but I haven't tried out the video feature yet since I wanted to keep the download manageable.

It's also very impressive that they've done this in a way that's completely intuitive and customizable. I just completely re-edited my LithoFusion app and had it updated for download in less than an hour! No coding and mostly drag & drop layout.

Looks like you can even submit an app for sale in the iTunes app store if you have a developer account. And, it apparently works with Kindle Fire as well, but I don't have one of those to test. They are also launching Android fully today and I've heard a rumor that they have a 'beta' web player coming out as well, probably tomorrow, maybe next week. Pretty freakin' cool huh?!

The challenges of traveling throughout Colombia for 6 weeks are still very fresh in my memory. The country is has just recently bounced back from years of drug wars and political upheaval & the work of rebuilding continues as some lingering wrinkles are ironed out.

There's no denying that this is one stunningly beautiful country, populated with some of the finest human beings I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. It's a bit early to tell, but this may be my finest collection of photos to date.

After 6 weeks of wandering around Colombia and a few more weeks of pain-staking editing & culling, I'm happy to announce that the photo book of fine black and white images is now LIVE!

Very happy to announce the new LithoFusion collection is now available as a beautifully printed, perfect bound photo book.

This collection began as an experiment to see if constraining the process with self-imposed guidelines would both stimulate creativity and result in a subtle cohesion.
